Mr. Denhoff was born at Coudersport, March 31, 1884. He was a son of Adam and Sophia Ernst Denhoff. His whole life was spent in this vicinity. He married Victoria Elizabeth Sabin on June 13, 1922. She survives with the following children: - William Edward, - James Leroy, - John Adelbert, - Franklin Robert, - Elizabeth Mae Kinney, - Catherine Ann Grom, - Sophia Jeannette Snyder, Coudersport, and - Levi Edward Denhoff of Syracuse, NY. The following are brothers and sisters: - Mrs. Elizabeth Ryan, - Mrs. Sophia Kellner, - Mrs. Bertha Blow, - Mrs. Louise Saulters, Coudersport, - Edward Denhoff of Canisteo, NY, and - Frederick Denhoff of Wellsville. Deceased was a member of the Baptist Church. Funeral service was held June 29 from the North Eulalia Baptist Church with the Rev. Daniel Waite officiating. Interment was in Five Corners Cemetery.
