The Colcord Family members are of interest to me as we are related. My grandfather was Edward A. Guenter, and his sister married into the Colcord family. Love seeing these photos!

So Fritz Guenter, M.D., was also related to the Colcord family, including Dr. Albert Colcord?

Martha Knight, Anna Guenter Colcord (1875-1951), my great aunt, is the Guenter Family link to the Colcord family. Anna was the sister of my grandfather, Edward A. Guenter. Anna married John Sherer Colcord (1868-1924) and they had two children, Gladys Colcord (1902-1975) and James Coldcord. My father was Dr. Fritz Edward Guenter, the son of Edward A. Guenter and Myra A. Cory Guenter. I'm not sure if or how Dr. Albert Colcord might be related to Anna Guenter Colcord. Martha, are you a Colcord family member? Susan Bowser Mueller

Dr. Albert Colcord was my doctor throughout my childhood, and later helped save my life when I had a serious systemic infection. I have many memories of him, and the Colcord family and house and Jane and her children.
I remember Fritz Guenter being on staff at Port Allegany Community Hospital, and a customer at Port Allegany Music Center. He wanted me to design a new sound system, so I went over to his home in Smethport to look at the space where it would go. They had a large "console" sound system, with wonderful speakers, and a good record player with a side-action record changer. It did not have a tape deck, but I think I found one for him, and replaced the turntable or maybe the tone arm and cartridge to handle "microgroove" records. I talked him out of buying a new component system and cabinet! But he seemed pleased to wind up with excellent sound and save a few hundred dollars. We must have done something to allow you kids to play 45s.

I think perhaps it could be the Office Girls. I tagged Essie Eimer (back row, second from right) who was the Potter Enterprise Office Girl. I think it's Barbara Wallace fourth from the right in the back row with Gertrude Guenther third from the right. It's not the Presby Church but could be the Consistory?

I think that this might be the Lutheran church because the picture is Martin Luther. I ran across this picture while doing some volunteer work in high school. The pastor at the time, Pastor Danielson told me that the picture was removed from the Church because there was a rumor that the Lutherans had stopped worshiping God and had settled on Martin Luther.

Hello. Anne Ouellette Gerner, and I'm the current President of the Office Girls of Coudersport and have this picture in the scrapbook I've been working on for our club. The picture was taken at the Lutheran Church's Sunday school room. I've been told they all made their own hats. A few of these ladies are still in our club. I'm still looking for the date this picture was taken. I have several of the ladies identified and thanks to some of you, have a few more now. I'm still looking to find out who the 2nd lady in the 2nd row from left is and the 3rd from the right in the 2nd row. They are the 2 I'm missing. If anyone can tell me who they are, I'd really appreciate it. You can just fb me on my page. Thanks.

woops! Now that I've blown it up, I[m not so sure about Miss Fredericks, especially since someone has already tagged her 'Beth Burt', which, together with a few other tags already there, answers the tagging question. Precious!

The lady, last row, 6th from left, to lower right of picture, with beanie-like hat- looks very familiar to me, one of the very few who does. Anyone know who she is? Many thanks for the tagging, whoever did it- Dale Ulkins?

Has anyone come up with a date for this photo? Even estimating the ages, from those really familiar with any of the ladies?

I love this photo. Didn't see it in 2014 but have one time since. If anyone sees any errors please let me know before I purchase a hard copy. Thanks.
Must give credits here, a day late, some time ago I believe Dale Ulkins posted this photo but I don't know who originally posted in 2014. Big credits go to Anne Quellette Gerner and Donna Schroeder/Bob Morey who put the ID lists together. A Big Thank You to these people.

Unusual for ladies to cross legs when this was taken. Couple are nearly showing a knee.

Love all these old pictures, what is neat about Coudersport, is that all the surnames are so common to me.

I knew the picture of Martin Luther was familiar. Still hangs in entrance to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Recognize some names.

I believe it is now our Gathering Room. Not sure but from the names perhaps it might be the current Office Girls group.

"I also found this old photo from Coudersport... " And thank you so much, Richard Neefe, for the ID's. Too bad we can't tag and have all tags show. BTW, I did correct some spelling errors in tags above.

Anne Ouellette Gerner Hello. Thanks.
