Mrs. Fannie Callahan and family have moved into an apartment in the Belva Shepard home. Bert Fessenden is on the sick list. Mesdames Shepard, Roberts, Ferguson and Metzger are spending two nights a week practicing for Rebekah Degree Team at Oswayo. A variety shower given for Marlene Loucks and William Chapman was enjoyed by a number of young people Sunday evening at the home of Kenyon Morris. The hostesses were Betty Wetzel and Lola Chapman. The couple received many lovely gifts. The Misses Beatrice Lawton and Barbara Shepard were home last week-end from Arnot-Ogden Nursing School at Elmira. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Costello of Shinglehouse were recent guests at the home of his brother, Paul Costello. Mrs. Charles Colley is working as a relief nurse at the Clinic in Olean. Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Donovan were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hammond at Corry, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Maxson Shepard had business in Olean, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Roberts spent the week-end visiting Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson at Tioga.
