Lucinda Latta Mercer

Lucinda or Alcinda Latta was born in 1821 in Huntingdon County, PA. Her parents moved to WV about 1830 then on to Monroe County, OH. Lucinda or Alcinda was married in Monongalia co, WV in 1838 to Jeremiah Mercer b 1816-8 Oct 1882., and died in 1894 in Tyler co, WV, buried Bowser Cemetery. He was the eldest child of William and Margaret Mercer, a man of stout build, about 6 feet tall, with blue eyes, fiery red hair and a temperament to match.
