She was born January 22, 1931 in Middlebourne, WV the daughter of the late, Commodore Perry and Goldie Mae Wetzel Eddy. Zelma was co owner of the former Plaza Gulf Service Station and was retired from the Marshall County Senior Center, where she worked the front desk and was a van driver. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Moundsville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Bassett; her second husband, Lou Imhof; a son, Garen Ray Bassett; three brothers, Eli, Alex and Jake Eddy; six sisters, Virginia Sine, Edith Carroll, Ethel Reed, Amy Gosnell, Helen “Betty” Boggs and her twin sister, Thelma Lemasters. Survivors include her son, Greg Bassett of Moundsville; a daughter, Amy (Johnathon) Williams of Wheeling; four grandchildren, Aaron Bonar, Hubert Bassett, Maunie Baysal and Samantha; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 12noon at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave. Moundsville, WV with Fr. That Son Ngoc Nguyen officiating. Private interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Sistersville, WV.
