  	Olive Irene Wetzel Cunningham, 94, of Sistersville Center, formerly of Middlebourne departed this life Saturday May 16, 2009 in the facility. She was born January 26, 1915 in Tyler County a daughter of the late Eli Jerry and Rachael Virginia Anderson Wetzel. Irene was a homemaker and a member of the Middlebourne Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clark J. Cunningham in 1971. Five brothers and seven sisters. A grandson and her son in law Earl Layfield. Irene is survived by her daughter Thelma Layfield of Middlebourne. Two granddaughters; Sandra ( Robert ) Lynch, Parkersburg and Teresa Martin, Aberdeen, MD. Five great grandchildren; Beth, Jenny, Robbie, Jamie and Terre. Four great great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Furbee Funeral Home, Middlebourne Monday May 18, 2009 3:00 - 8:00 pm where services will be held Tuesday 1:00 pm with Pastor Jim Potts officiating.
