Samuel Meloy and Harry Conway the Victims - How They Were Hurt.
Samuel Meloy, an employe of the freight car department at Renovo, met with a very painful injury Wednesday morning, the results of which may prove fata.
The Renovo News gives the following particulars:
"Mr. Meloy was wheeling a small truck in the yards, and a number of men were pushing a large truck or car loaded with lumber and ran into Mr. Meloy, catching him in the small of the back and jamming him against the small car; injuring him internally.
He was taken to the Emergency hospital, where he was given attention by Dr. Fullmer. At present writing he is resting quietly.
Dr. Fullmer, owing to the nature of the injury and the shock thereto, is unable to tell just how serious the injury is.
Mr. Meloy is about 60 years of age and resided with his brother, George Meloy, at Farwell’s Addition.
Mr. Meloy has been a resident of Renovo for a good many years, but during recent business depression was laid off, and had only been at work about a month.”
