Kathryn Chastain, daughter of Peter and Cleo Chastain of Roulette, and PFC Joseph Brown, son of Bertha Brown and the late Lawrence Brown of Roulette were married May 11, 1944. Their attendants were Peter Chastain III, brother of the bride, and Lois Boomquist of Port Allegany. The Rev. Charles Ritburg, pastor of the Methodist Church, performed the ceremony at the bride's home. They are parents of three children: - Karen Treadaway and - Diane Walker of Milpitas, CA, and - Ted Broen of Jackson, CA. They also have three granddaughters and two step-granddaughters
