Geneva, who presently resides at Sweden Valley Manor, would enjoy receiving cards from friends and acquaintances to help her celebrate her day. -- ROULETTE NATIVE CELEBRATES 90 -- Geneva Grandin, a native of roulette, will celebrate her 90th birthday on June 22. Grandin, a 1917 graduate of Roulette High School, was for many years a correspondent for the Potter Enterprise and other local papers. She has been a resident of Sweden Valley Manor for the past four years, but during her long residence in Roulette, Geneva was very active in community affairs. She is a life member of Myrtle Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and a past matron of that organization. She belonged to the Roulette Rebekah Lodge and the Roulette Sunshine Circle, and for many years was Roulette Republican Chairman. She was married to William Grandin who died in 1967. She has five grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Her only son, Major William Grandin, died in 1983. One of her two living sisters, Florence Gallup, also resides at the Manor. Her other sister, Naomi Mosch, lives in Coudersport. She is the daughter of Major Weimer and Della Rossman Weimer. Major Weimer was one of the earliest settlers in Roulette. Until she moved into the Manor, she lived in the Maple Street home built by her father in 1906.

Paul Lynn Gardner
Paul Lynn Gardner Frank's first wife was Eloise Gustwick who died in 1921 three months after they were married. Franks second wife was Margery Farley who died in 1974. Margery was a science teacher in Coudersport before our time. Frank and Naomi were married in 1985. Naomi died in 1997, one month after Frank died.

96. ARTHUR W. McLATCHIE, who is associated with the Easton and Fee Garage of Coudersport, was born in Mina on December 5, 1899, the son of George L. and Anna (Klein) McLatchie. Arthur W.'s grandfather McLatchie came to America from Scotland and his great-grandfather Klein settled in Potter County almost one hundred years ago, having migrated to this country from Germany. His grandfather Klein built the house where Arthur W.'s mother now resides. Mr. McLatchie was graduated from Coudersport High School. He is a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Eulalia Lodge Number 342 F.&.A.M., Coudersport Chapter Number 263, Potter Commandery Number 69 K.T. and Coudersport Consistory. He married, December 23, 1925, Naomi Ruth Weimer, of Roulette, the daughter of Major and Virginia (Rossman) Weimer. Mrs. McLatchie's grandparents were pioneer settlers of Potter County. She was graduated from Roulette High School and from Lock Haven Normal School. She has taught school for twenty-two years. She is a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Daughters of American Colonists and Eulalia Chapter Number 148 O.E.S. She is Past Matron of O.E.S. Mrs. McLatchie's hobby is knitting and Mr. McLatchie's hobby is working as an amateur gunsmith.
