Born May 3, 1925 in Galeton, she was a daughter of the late Gus and Ella (Anderson) VanSteamburg. On July 1, 1945, in Galeton, she married Oliver “Twist” Campbell, who survives. Betty worked at Galeton Production for many years and enjoyed gardening, antiques and spending time with her family and friends. Surviving are - her husband of 65 years, Oliver “Twist” Campbell, Galeton; - two sons, - William (Lynne) Campbell and - John (Brenda) Campbell, both of Galeton; - a daughter, Nancy (Clay Louden) Campbell, Galeton; - 13 grandchildren; - 13 great grandchildren; and - a sister, Virginia Mack, Galeton. Friends may call at the Hess Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Collins Chapel, Galeton, on Saturday, September 4, 2010 from 1:00-4:00pm.
