Born in Ceres, N.Y., he was a son of Homer and Myrthe Jordan. He was a retired recreational vehicle dealer, moving to Lake Placid fifteen months ago from North Carolina. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Lake Placid Elks Lodge and was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Jordan is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Emily; a daughter, Christy J. Jordan; sons, Daniel (Cindy), David (Ten) and Patrick (Dawn); grandchildren, Nicholas M., Mia Michelle and John Patrick; a sister Dolores Turner; a brother, Winston Jordan; and loyal companion, Gus "Punky Bear." He was predeceased by a son, Joel. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
