  	The Charleston Gazette Thurs., March 16, 1972 Mrs. Nora Varney BANCO- Mrs. Nora Dell Varney, 90, of Banco, Logan County, died Tuesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Edith Rudman of Huntington. She was a member of Ed Stone Branch Church of Christ. Also surviving: - daughter, Mrs. Mae Simpson of Cleveland, Ohio. - sons, Otis of Casselberry, Fla. - Grandy of Chapmanville, - Bethel of Springfield, Ohio, 24 grandchildren 19 great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 pm Friday in Ed Stone Branch Church of Christ at Banco with the Rev. Virgil Hill officiating. Burial will be in Varney Cemetery onNorth Fork of Big Creek. The body will be taken to the church an hour before the service. Friends may call after 4:30 pm today at James Funeral Home in Logan.

No true death dates, but as I stated they are missing from the 1930 Logan County,WV. census. I remember my grandmother (Hattie Vickers Varney) pointing out where they used to live when we drove by many years ago. It was near Big Creek/ Banco WV. I believe that is where they lived when they died. I'm talking/e-mailing some Varney descendants right now who may be able to help.I'll ask. The files I'm sending will start with Albert Varney, although I could go back 4 more generations if you want to see them. The only other Varney pictures I have are naturally from the Joseph Varney side of the family, no group family, just individual shots at different times. I'm working on that. You should be able to figure out my Aunts and Uncles from the file info. Do you have any Varney pictures you could share? If I can drum up some more info/pictures, I'll keep you you in mind.
