Katie Coffey Freddie Patterson lived across the street from me. I just adored him when I was small - he was so tall & handsome. We had a large apple tree in our front yard & when I was about 4, my grandparents, mother & I were picking apples. As a helpful 4 yr old, I was sitting up high on the ladder. Freddie came out in the middle of Niles Road & said "Jump, Kathleen - I'll catch you". Well, to everyone's surprise, I jumped & went right over Freddie's head. Landed in the road head first. Next thing I remember is sitting on Nana's lap, wrapped in an afghan crying with Nana telling me if I didn't stop, my face would freeze that way. I was more concerned about Freddie...."will his face freeze that way too?"...he was crying his eyes out. Needless to say, Freddie never asked me to jump again. I still have the scar on my forehead. Anyone know what ever happened to him?

Robert Saulter Saw Freddie at our 50th reunion a few years ago. I think he worked in education of the handicapped.

Dale Ulkins I believe the kid with the glasses might be Bill Caldwell. Over his shoulder is Facebook's own Mark Zuckerberg!!! I just made that up. The kid with the folded hands appears to be Jerry Chitester. That wouldn't be Charlie Cole in front of John Wells II, would it? These kids were all older than me. Almost every face looks familiar to me but I can't recall the names. Parker Kane? There's a name I've never heard of. I guess we're going to need a Jane Heimel MetzgerThomas T Shirey team to fill in the blanks. Their memories are less rusty than my own.

Paul Lynn Gardner I may be wrong, but I think it may have been a candy bar and bottle of pop.

Thomas Maynard Yes Tom Gordnier, sadly I agree with you. I was able to go to a service two years ago for the first time in many years and was so sad to see so few people there. The ones there were so very friendly and made me feel very welcome. Thank you Jesus. God bless all our churches.
