The services of my ancestor John Runyan/Runion (no. 4th) during the War of the Revolution were as follows:
Private in Captain Humble's Company in Amglaise Cunty, VA. John Custard rather? of Susannah Custer was in 9th and 13th Regiment of Virginia too this record appears in records of Historical Register of Virginians in the Revolution by John H. 'Gwatheny'? also note Military Vouchers given in census records.
---Note this in wirting the family history of Vincent Roignon the ancestor of (Poiters?) France, who cam to America in 1665 locating in J.J. a large line of descendtnts scattered in N.J./Penna, Virginia, Ohio and wetern U.S.
