Evelyn Shipman, 82, died Tuesday, July 13, 2004, at the Frankfort Community Care Home. A prayer service was at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 15, at St. Gregory's Catholic Church, Marysville.The funeral was at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 16, at St. Gregory's, with the Rev. Bill Bruning officiating. Organist Bob Welch accompanied the choir.Burial was in St. Gregory's Cemetery.

- Ken Koch,
- Mark Koch,
- Rob Shipman,
- Mark Shipman,
- Jim Nordhus and
- Joe Peschel.
Evelyn Shipman was born Sept. 20, 1921, in Diller, Neb., the daughter of Frank and Anna Betscheider Shipman.
She moved to Marysville in 1955 with her parents.
She was never able to leave home because of a childhood illness.She was a member of St. Gregory's Church and spent the last several years in the Frankfort Care Home.
Survivors include
three brothers,
- Albert Shipman, Mason City, Iowa,
- Francis Shipman, Chandler, Ariz., and
- Bob Shipman, Marysville.
