Gregory Glasscock, born about 1634 and died about 1689 was presumably the
oldest son inasmuch as his father's land passed into his possession, probably
according to ancient custom of primogeniture. He married by 1667, when he and
his wife, Mary, deeded Morattico Creek land that had been his father's to his
brother Thomas. In 1667, listing himself as a Rappahannock planter, he gave
powere of attorney to "My loving brother, Thos. Glasscock of ye same county
planter", in the settlement of an estate.
Gregory died in 1688/89. He and Mary had three children, Thomas, born June
1, 1662, Married Sarah Stone, Mary and Anne, Twins were born Nov 10, 1673.
Mary and Anne married but had no children. Thurs Gregroy's branch of the
Glasscock family is all descended from Thomas.

Person note
!Source: Glasscock Genealogical Charts, second generation. p.80. He apparently inherited his father's land on Morattico Creek in Lancaster County, as in 1677 he deeded this land and gave his power of attorney to his brother, Thomas, in the settlement on an estate. He died in 1688 or 1689. He listed himself as a "Rappahannock Planter".
