Goodman, 91 CHURCHVILLE -- Walter Howell Goodman died Tuesday (Dec. 20, 2005.) He was born May 13, 1914, near Cool Spring, N.C., to John Franklin and Mary Eleanor (Foster) Goodman. He retired from Republic Steel Corporation, he drove a tractor-trailer in Richmond, and he drove part-time as a bank courier. Mr. Goodman was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marjorie (Campbell) Goodman,- and two brothers, Benjamin and Paul Goodman. Survivors include a son, John Goodman, and two sisters, Elizabeth Norris of Advance, N.C., and Nancy Goodman of Statesville, N.C. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church. Burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church. Bear Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
