Said it before but I can not get over the number of people who were in WWII from Coudy. Most people know of their Dad or Mom serving but I was oblivious to all the greatest generation. Washington Clinton's daughter Elizabeth "Lizzie" (1839-187) was the second wife of my great-grandfather George Washington Mitchell. She died after childbirth. I will see if I can enhance the photo and get a better view of the faces. Also there is a link to the Hamilton side of my family, if I have this right. Washington Clinton's daughter Katherine (1857-) married Orange Haskins. His son Howard Henry Haskins married Loretta M. Willett. Their daughter Kathleen June Haskins married Marshall Hamilton, who was my uncle. Marshall and June had four children. One still lives in Coudersport. Three of their children have died: Thomas Howard, Susan Dawn and Jackie "Jack" Marshall. (June and Marshall were World War II veterans.
