• WHAT ABOUT FUNERALS AND CUSTOMS? NATURALLY is the key word when talking about the way any custom came about. Each custom in nearly every country or religion started as the natural thing to do in that time and place. Small wonder then that funeral customs are as varied as the number of countries and religions there are. YET there are some customs nearly all groups in our community observe.
One of these is the custom of friends calling on the family. These people want to show their concern and let the family know that they are standing by to help if possible. They unconsciously do much more. When things look very dark to the surviving wife and she sees a widowed friend come to call she realizes that many people have worked through a similar crisis and she will too. -McLean's Jean Sardou Studio.
MRS. J. S. PARISELLA Valentine Is in Newark PEOPLE She and Wed purple. the Valley the say to the family when often ask us "What should HM call ?" Our answer always is to sav what comes naturally for you.
The most important. thing is that you are there. True that "Actions speak louder than words" so don't worry too much about what is said. ANOTHER.
