SHINGLEHOUSE NEWS
Miss Bess Thatcher was in Brockport, N. Y. from Friday until Monday as a delegate from Shinglehouse to the Epworth League Convention held in that place.
Mrs. James Woodard accompanied her mother Mrs. Kellog to Virginia last week where the latter will spend the winter months. Mrs. Woodard remained for a short visit.
Mr. and Mrs. G. D. Appleby, Misses Ruby Woolcott and Mollis Terwiliger were in Buffalo last week.
Miss Ella Buck and Maud Morley were shopping in Olean Saturday.
The Senior supper held in the M. E. church dining room Wednesday evening was a decided success. The receipts were about $30.00. Sirs. Hickox who has been spend- ing a few weeks nt her home here has returned to St. Petersburg. Fla. Rev. T. C. Harris gave an address, at the Bible Conference held in Ulvsses Thursday night. Rev. and Mrs. Sciirimshaw enter- tained the former's parents several j davs last week. I Mrs. R. Wavne Nichols anu- utue son have been visiting Philadelphia. George Barnes has been sick with an attack of grippe. Mr. and Mrs. S. C. Rimdell were recent Genesee visitors. The Senior Rhetoricals will be given Tuesday evening November 27. relatives in

NO I had not seen it. Maude Morley was my great aunt. Suzie Morley was her cousin. And Ella Buck was my husband's aunt. GREAT PHOTO Thank you.
I knew that they taught school together and Aunt Maude and Aunt Ella remained lifelong friends.
I'm sitting here grinning thinking about those ladies of another time -- who were staid, but funny; strict in some ways but so loving. Aunt Maude saw to it that I got piano lessons. oh stories
Maude P, born 1895, married Waldo Cloud? I have 2 Maude Morleys, the other Maud A. I don't know whom she married.
Maude P (Persis) yes. thats the one. Maude A is the daughter of Maude P.'s brother Mack Morley (my grandfather Seth was the older brother.)
Maude A married her own cousin George Morley, son of Ed Morley (younger brother of the others mentioned above)

George and Maude are both still living in Ulysses, have 10 kids and a myriad of grandkids and greats.
I babysat for them for years. Bright funny talented (musically) family. And here I sit. Grinning.
OK well, I thought maybe you thought you shouldn't ask about a cousin marriage.
Never been a secret. You met George at the reunon this summer. Maude wasn't well enough to be there. They are 93 years old.
