FUNERAL TOMORROW FOR L.J. McNAMARA
Plumbing Company Head Was Stricken with Heart Attack
Funeral services for Lawrence J. McNamara, president of the McNamara Plumbing Company, and former president of the National Association of Master Plumbers, who died yesterday morning at his home, 6920 Waterman avenue, University City, will be held at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning at the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Mr. McNamara was stricken ill with a heart attack Saturday night, from which he never rallied. He was 68 years old.
He was nationally known for his efforts toward improvement of his craft. He served two terms each as vice president and president of the National Association of Master Plumbers, of which he was a director at his death, and held every prominent office in the local chapter of the organization. He was a member of the committee appointed by the Federal Trade Commission to decide upon a code of ethics for that business.
The McNamara Plumbing Company, established in 1895, did a national business, specializig in work in hospitals and other institutions.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ann McNamara, and eight children, three sons and five daughters, one of whom is
- Sister Mary Anne of St. Joseph's Convent, Wichita, Kan.

- Walter McNamara, and the Misses,
