Mrs. Pearl Mae Foster, 86, of Springfield died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at St. John's Hospital.
Mrs. Foster was born Oct. 3, 1899, in Moweaqua, the daughter of Charles and Bertha Lane Hall.
A resident of Springfield for many years, Mrs. Foster was retired from Illinois Bell Telephone Co.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Bertha Rose Smith of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Violet Moore and Mrs. Irene Rowland, both of Springfield; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Vancil Memorial Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Frank J. O'Hara officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
