James W. Larkin, Aged 90, Dies At Roulette Home
James Willin Larkin, 90, of Roulette, died at his home about 11:30 a. m. Tuesday.
A native of Hector Township, Potter County, he was born Jan. 23, 1867, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Larkin.
Survivors include
- a daughter, Mrs. Carlos T. Varney, of Roulette,
six grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and two great,, great grandchildren.
Funeral service is being held from the Varney home this afternoon at 2:00 o'clock.
- Burial is to be in Card creek Cemetery.
Local Group Goes to See Don Hoak Play Ball
Robert Fessenden, Dewsy Dexter, Edward Kaufeld, Jerry Tauscher, Gary Fessenden, Dennie Hoak, Otis Church, Charles Eckert, Rayburn Weimer Jr., Howard Smith, Harold Howard, Albert Chase, Merle Baum, Larry Roberts, Robert Tucker and Mr. Holster, attended the double-header basball game between the Cincinnati Redlegs and Pittsburgh Pirates at Pittsburgh, Sunday. . The Redlegs won both games. Roulette's Don Hoak plays on the team. with of

Robert Sherman Briggs, two-week-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Briggs, should be an unusually well behaved child, for when he arrived at the Potter County Memorial Hospital on May Day, he discovered that he had besides his parents 11 grandparents to keep him in line or to indulge him when his parents weren't looking. :
