- [SHAY 15010 Silas.FTW] Henrich appeared on the tax list of Manheim Twp., Schuylkill Co., PA for 1811 and 1813. In 1815, he was assessed on 53 acres of warranted land, buildings and chattels valued at $750. In 1818, his property was sold at public auction for non-payment of a debt. His name appeared again on the tax list for 1823, being assessed on several cows, no horses and tools. In 1824, he was taxed the same amount, but he was reported as "gone off." Henrich moved about 1823 to Ohio, first settling in Center Township, near Shakertown, Montgomery Co., OH; removing later to Mad River Twp., Montgomery Co., OH in the neighborhood of Beardshear Chapel, and finally settled in Springcreek Twp., Miami Co., OH. Henrich purchased 24 acres of land in Northeast section 12 in Springcreek Twp., Miami Co., OH from Amosa Sanders for $300 on February 27, 1832. Joseph Snyder, Elizabeth his wife; Henry Snyder, Catherine his wife; Hiram Hager, Eve his wife; Jacob Snyder, Catherine his wife; and Mary Denham sold this land for $900 to Thomas L. Steele on March 4, 1853. Henrich purchased 2 85/100 acres of land in Northeast Section 7 in Springcreek Twp., Miami Co., from John Bowen for $200 on February 26, 1845. He sold this land to Joseph Stratton for $337 on January 23, 1849. Henrich purchased one acre of land in Northeast section 12 in Springcreek Twp., Miami Co., from John Robbins for $112.50 on November 22, 1845. Henrich purchased 36 acres of land in Northwest Section 6 in Springcreek Twp., Miami Co., from James Patterson for $1,300 on April 3, 1849. This land was sold by Jacob Snyder, Catherine his wife; Henry Snyder, Catherine his wife; Joseph Snyder, Elizabeth his wife; Peter Herroff, Elizabeth his wife; Hiram Hager, Eve his wife; and Mary Denham for $900 on March 3, 1853. Henrich is buried in the Fletcher Presbyterian Churchyard in Fletcher, Miami Co., OH.
