On December 25, 1873. he was married to Alice Boor. They moved to Martinsburg 18 years ago. Surviving are three sons and five daughters: D. C. Hershberger, Charter Oak, Iowa; Mrs. H. S. Ober, Woodbury; Mrs. C. A. Studebaker, Tippecanoe City, Ohio; Dr. J. W. Hershberger, C. A. Hershberger, Mrs. G. B. Wineland and Mrs. J. K. Archey, Martinsburg; Mrs. C. B. Rhodes, Martinsburg, R. D. No. 1; three brothers and three sisters; the Rev. John S. Hershberger, Daniel and Anson Hershberger, and Mrs. Jacob Baker, Everett: Mrs. Albert Stayer, Roaring Spring; and Mrs. G. L. Mr. Hershberger was a son of Henry and Elizabeth Steele Hershberger and was born in Snake Spring Valley, January 3, 1851. He was a life long member of the Church of the Brethren. On December 25, 1873. he was married to Alice Boor. They moved to Martinsburg 18 years ago.
Surviving are three sons and five daughters:
