Former Resident of Bolivar Passed Away at Bradford, Tuesday Evening, Aged 39 Years.
Mrs. Anna V. (should be M.) Hoover of Coleville, PA, died at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday evening at No. 16 West Corydon street in Bradford, where she had been receiving medical treatment for the past five weeks. Her sister-in-law, Mrs. Katherine (Hoover) Snyder, died suddenly Monday afternoon at her home in that city.
Mrs. Hoover is survived by her husband, James V. Hoover, and two adopted children: Dean, aged 10 and Alice (G.), aged 14 years; also her mother, Mrs. Alice (A. Richardson) Ford of Richburg.
Mr. Hoover and family had resided in Bolivar up to a few months ago, when they moved to Coleville, PA. Mrs. Hoover was born at Richburg (9/1870) and lived there and at Bolivar nearly all of her life. She leaves many friends to mourn her untimely death.
The funeral will probably be held at the Baptist church in Richburg, Friday afternoon, with interment in the Richburg cemetery.

The remains of Anna M. Hoover, wife of J.V. Hoover, who died in a sanitarium at Bradford Tuesday evening, May 24, were brought to this place Thursday to the home of her mother, Mrs. Alice (A. Richardson) Ford. The funeral was held at the First Baptist church on Saturday at 1:30 o'clock and was largely attended. Rev. W.N. Mason, the pastor, was the officiating clergyman. The remains were laid to rest in the Richburg Cemetery.... The affliction coming two fold on Mr. Hoover, as on Thursday before bringing the remains of his wife to this place they laid the remains of his sister, Mrs. Katherine Snyder, in her final resting place at Bradford.
Those from away who attended the funeral of Mrs. Hoover besides those of he family, were E.J. Hoover and Fred Snyder of Coleville, PA; Mrs. William Ripple, Bingham, PA; Mrs. Michael Keer, WV; S.S.
