In honor of that, I'd like to share their wedding picture with you. They were married in Lancaster, PA. My dad had his brothers and brother-in laws stand with him. All except Uncle Herman who volunteered to stay in Coudersport to cover for Uncle George's patients as well as his own. Pictured from left to right are: Doug Vaughan, Dave Faulkner, best man was George Mosch, the groom Paul Mosch, my grandfather, T Harold McMurray, John Mosch, and Ted Mauz. My mom had friends as her bridesmaids and her new sister-in-law Donavieve Vaughan was her matron-of honor; she is standing to the right of my mom. Flower girl is my dad's niece Wendy Guinta and ring bearer his nephew, Paul Vaughan, I also might add that they got engaged at Lyman Lake. That was the first time for Mom to meet all the Mosch's in Galeton, PA. His second plane was a Beechcraft Bonanza. His first plane was a Piper Cherokee which he flew out of Potato City. Harry took my brothers and me on our first airplane ride in his red Euronka. Mom graduated first and was the bread winner until Dad finished. Then they were stationed in the Navy at Quantico, VA before making there home in Coudersport. Dad's parents, Otto, picked out their home for them. It was quite the fixer upper so I hear; but I was born and raised in that house. Brief accounts of family visits were typical of what passed for "news" in the 1940s-60s, here when my aunt Evelyn Mosch (then Colcord) Lyn Howell met my mom in Coudy to visit Papa Otto and second wife Catherine, brothers Herm, Georg and Paul Mosch, while the dads took to the woods, c. 1964. We stalked the familiar terrain of stubbled corn and potato fields around the Vaughan-Loy homestead on Sweden Hill but the kids' chattering outnoised the wary gobblers.
