Bobbi Palmer I love houses like that! It makes me sad when I see older houses that have been abandoned. All I can see and feel is how they must have looked at one time, feel the history of generations of lil feet pattering through the house, families gathering at a large dinning table together, celebrations and the warmth the home brought to people. Thanks for sharing the photos, great to see the ones that are still around.

Christine Phillips Aunt Jeanette, you asked for birthdates: Preston Erway - Dec 28, 1903, Harold - 1906, Clifton - 1908, May - 1910. Blanche Francis Sweet married Lewis Erway in 1918 at age 34 - it was her second marriage. Hope this helps. I will talk to my Dad about the Raymond School.

Stan Smith I think I went to Gold two years. Started UHS as a freshman in fall of 44, so it was prior to that. I think Gold school closed shortly after that.

Jeannette Buck Well, the Gold School closed in 1948. I started third grade that fall in Ulysses. My first two years were in Gold. I didn't realize that Raymond had closed that early.
