Bride (' r- f Mrs. William Payne Former Coudersport Man Dies Of Heart Attack Services This Afternoon in Rochester For Lawrence W. Rossman Widow, Mother Among Survivors Graduate of Local High School. A former Coudersport resident is dead in Rochester, N. Y., at the age of 45. He is Lawrence W. Rossman ,son of Mrs. Margaret Rossman and the late Ernest Rossman, died suddenly Monday night of a heart seizure. Mr. Rossman attended high school in Coudersport and graduated from Bentley College in Harrisburg. Services will be held this afternoon at the Corbett Funeral Home in Rochester, starting at 2:30 o'clock, with interment in White Haven Memorial Park. iB He is survived by his widow, Beatrice Rossman; his mother, Mrs. Ernest Rossman; three sisters, Mrs. Herbert Bailey; Mrs. William Edgecombe and Mrs. Arlie Quimby. He was a member of the Rochester Credit Mens Association, National Association of Cost Accountants and Tax Executive Institute. Frederick F. Moran In III Health for Years, Dies at Age Of Seventy-two years. Frederick Francis Moran passed away Monday, (Oct. 11, 1954), following a long illness. Fred Moran was born at Ridgeway, Pa., Sept 25, 1882, son of James and Mary Moran, but the larger part of his life was spent at this place. Much of his mature life he was employed in the local tannery. Deceased married Ruth Hanson at Olean, N. Y., Aug. 16, 1913, and to the family were born the following children: Bertha Moran, Mrs. Monica Neefe, Florence Mosch, Jeanne Roche, Phyllis Hughes, Frederick Francis Moran, all of Coudersport, and Margaret Currier, Tonawanda, N. Y. There are two brothers, Paul, of Coudersport, and Blake of Lockport, N. Y.; two sisters, Sadie Bernard of Olean and Mary Seitler of Rochester, N. Y. Mr. Moran was a member of St. Eulalia Church. Friends were received at his late home, where the Rosary was recited, Tuesday at 8:30 p. m. Requiem High mass was celebrated by Rev. Arthur J. Leon, pastor, at St. Eulalia Church Thursday at 10:00 a. m. Burial followed in the St. Eulalia Cemetery. Arrangements by Han-ley's Funeral Home. Frank Butler Austin Man Dies At Home of His Daughter. Frank Butler, 74, died at 11.10 a. m. Monday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alice Austin, at Austin. He had made his home at Austin for two years. Coroner Earl A. Brown said death was. due to natural causes. A native of Keating Summit, he was born March 4, 1880, the son of Charles A. and Anna- Butler, and had been employed as a lumberman, a railroad laborer and by the Pennsylvania Department of Highways. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Austin and Mrs. Ferman Woods, of Olean; three sons, Leo, Mt. Morris, N. Y., and Leonard and Howard Butler, Port Aliegany; 18 gradchil-drcn Beautiful Fall Wedding At Catholic Church Miss Arlene Yvonne Weiss Bride of William Mclvin Payne '-After Wedding Trip to Make Home At Port Allegany. St. Eulalia Catholic Church here was the scene of a beautiful fall wedding last Saturday morning, Oct. 9, when Miss Arlene Yvonne Weiss, older daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lc-pold C. Weiss of Coudersport was married to William Melvin Payne. Mr. Payne's paretns are Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Payne of Austin. The double ring nuptial mass was performed at 11:30 in the morning by Rev. Arthur Leon before a large group of the couple's friends and relatives. Mrs. Gertrude Jordan, church organist, furnished music for the ceremony and accompanied Miss Joyce Glenn of Austin, who sang, "Ava Maria," and "The Lord's Prayer," as the couple knelt before an altar decorated with white chrysanthemums and tall white tapers. The bride, who was escorted to the altar by her father, was gowned in a waltz length ensemble of white chantilly lace and nylon net. Her dress was fashioned with a fitted lace bodice and bouffant skirt of lace over net and taffeta. A matching bolero, jacket with long, tapering sleeves and tiny collar covered the strapless bodice. Her veil of French silk illusion fell from a small tiara of lace and tulle embroidered with seed pearls. She carried , a , small white prayer book, gift oftne groom, topped with a single .white gardenia and cascade of white rosebuds. Miss Nancy Payne of Austin, sister of the bridegroom, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Shirley Fee, Miss Caroline Gaberseck and Mrs. Richard Abbott, a cousin of the bridegroom. They wore bal lerina length frocks of nylon net and crystallette in shades of gold, cotillion blue and shrimp. Their gowns were designed with bouffant skirts, crinolette shirred mid-riffs, and strapless bodices concealed by matching chrystallette jackets. The full skirts held out over crinolines were fashioned with cascades of net which ended in a bustle effect. Floral tiaras and crescent shaped bouquets of harvest moon carnations completed their ensembles. Alton Carr of Austin was best man. Ushers were Robert Toombs, William Gaberseck and Frank. Gaberseck. Mrs. Weiss chose for her daughter's wnddinfr n naw blue ensemble with pink accessories and a corsage of pink rosebuds. Mrs. Payne, Sr., wore navy also, with accessories of red and a corsage of white carna tions. . " Following the ceremony a reception was held at Odin Grange Hall for approximately 175 guests. The bridal table, covered in white, was centered with a four tiered wedding cake bearing a replica of the newly-weds. White chrysanthemums and tall white tapers completed the table arrangements. Mr. and Mrs. Payne left Saturday evening for a wedding trip to the Pocono Mountains and will return this week to make their home in Port Allegany, where the groom is employed by Pittsburgh-Corning Glass Works. For her honeymoon, Mrs. Payne wore a navy blue knitted suit with white angora trim and navy accessories. " Her flowers were white garnet rose. The bride is a graduate of the Coudersport High School, Class of 1953 and for the past year has been employed as secretary in the office of the Coudersport GLF. Mr. Payne received his education in Austin High School, from which he was graduated in 1953. Pre-nuptial parties with which the bride was feted include a variety shower for which Mrs. Laveme Major and Mrs. Richard Abbott were hostesses; a personal shower given by Miss Shirley Fee; and a variety shower given by Mrs. W. E. Houpt and Mrs. Kenneth Scott for . new ' and old neighbors of the bride. ' Guests attended the wedding and reception from Coudersport, Austin, Port Allegany, Eldred, Olean, Limef stone, Lancaster, Chicago, 111., Wil-liamsport. New York City, Bradford and Middletown. Patient At Robert Packer Hospital Following Surgery Mrs. Thelma Plank was in Sayre Sunday to see her sister, Mrs. John Jenkins of Erie, who is a surgical patient at the Robert Packer Hospital. She was operated upon for a tumor of the spine Oct. 4. Her condition is serious.

In III Health for Years, Dies at Age Of Seventy-two years.

Frederick Francis Moran passed away Monday, (Oct. 11, 1954), following a long illness. Fred Moran was born at Ridgeway, Pa., Sept 25, 1882, son of James and Mary Moran, but the larger part of his life was spent at this place. Much of his mature life he was employed in the local tannery.
Deceased married Ruth Hanson at Olean, N. Y., Aug. 16, 1913, and to the family were born the following children:

- Mrs. Monica Neefe,
- Florence Mosch,
- Jeanne Roche,
- Phyllis Hughes,
- Frederick Francis Moran, all of Coudersport, and
