She died 6-30-2006 in Coudersport, PA - Potter County and was buried in Hebron, Potter County, PA - Hebron Cemetery. _______ Obituary - from Dorothy Smith Collection: COUDERSPORT - Grace E. Pepperman, 97, of Coudersport, died Friday (June 30, 2006) at the Sweden Valley Manor in Coudersport. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced along with a complete obituary by the Fickinger Funeral Home. Grace E. Pepperman, 97, of Coudersport, died Friday (June 30, 2006) at Sweden Valley Manor in Coudersport. Born August 6, 1908 on Crandall Hill, she was the daughter of Fred and Etta Josephine Dingman Snyder. On May 16, 1928 in Portville, NY she married Llewellyn D. ?Shorty? Pepperman, who died on January 30, 2001. Mrs. Pepperman was a graduate of Coudersport High School and attended Mansfield State Normal School. She taught school in Coneville, was a member of North Eulalia Baptist Church and was a former school director and assessor for Hebron Township. She was a 50-year member of the former Hebron Grange #1251 and was a member of Central Grange #1216 of Sweden Valley. She was also a member of Potter County Pamona Grange #54, the Pennsylvania State Grange and the National Grange. She held offices and was a state delegate for the Grange. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society's Sweden Valley Red Wing Falcon Chapter #48330. Surviving are two daughters, - Patricia A. Lunn of Hixson, Tenn. and - Nan J. Pepper of Coudersport; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three sisters, - Iva Spring, - Elizabeth Tauscher, and - Eva Swift. Friends may call from 4-7 P.M. Friday (July 14, 2006) at the Fickinger Funeral Home of Coudersport. A Grange service will be held following the calling hours. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday (July 15) at the funeral home with the Reverend Michael Reeves, pastor of North Eulalia Baptist Church, officiating. - Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery. Shorty was an auctioneer and for years did most of the auctions in the area. he and Grace were also long-time members of the Hebron Grange and very active in the Grange. Pepperman, 97, of Coudersport, died Friday (June 30, 2006) at the Sweden Valley Manor in Coudersport. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced along with a complete obituary by the Fickinger Funeral Home. Grace E. Pepperman, 97, of Coudersport, died Friday (June 30, 2006) at Sweden Valley Manor in Coudersport. Born August 6, 1908 on Crandall Hill, she was the daughter of Fred and Etta Josephine Dingman Snyder. On May 16, 1928 in Portville, NY she married Llewellyn D. ?Shorty? Pepperman, who died on January 30, 2001. Mrs. Pepperman was a graduate of Coudersport High School and attended Mansfield State Normal School. She taught school in Coneville, was a member of North Eulalia Baptist Church and was a former school director and assessor for Hebron Township. She was a 50-year member of the former Hebron Grange #1251 and was a member of Central Grange #1216 of Sweden Valley. She was also a member of Potter County Pamona Grange #54, the Pennsylvania State Grange and the National Grange. She held offices and was a state delegate for the Grange. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society's Sweden Valley Red Wing Falcon Chapter #48330. Surviving are two daughters, - Patricia A. Lunn of Hixson, Tenn. and - Nan J. Pepper of Coudersport; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three sisters, - Iva Spring, - Elizabeth Tauscher, and - Eva Swift. Friends may call from 4-7 P.M. Friday (July 14, 2006) at the Fickinger Funeral Home of Coudersport. A Grange service will be held following the calling hours. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday (July 15) at the funeral home with the Reverend Michael Reeves, pastor of North Eulalia Baptist Church, officiating. - Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery. Shorty was an auctioneer and for years did most of the auctions in the area. he and Grace were also long-time members of the Hebron Grange and very active in the Grange.
