For me, this year has been filled with love, family, friends, and discovery. I have received affirmation that love has no boundaries and family has a much bigger meaning and farther reaching roots than any DNA. I am thankful for the love my parents gave to me and the lessons in life they taught me. Dan and I have never been unemployed and we have lived in the same house since 1981, for that I am so grateful. I have a brother Larry Herbstritt and sister (Sandra Junker) that I love so much, and they love me. I am thankful for my husband and the 30+ years we have shared together. I love him so much and he is my best friend. We were blessed with beautiful twin daughters in 1986 Courtney Vettorel and Caylie Tautin. They were born way too soon and weighed two pounds at birth. I am so thankful to God for watching over them and giving them the will to survive. Today, they healthy, happy beautiful young women that Dan and I are so proud of. I thank the men in their lives, Doug Vettorel and Dave Lira, for loving our babies and taking such great care of them. I love you both very much. I am also thankful for the Vettorel family who came into our lives only a few short years ago. You are all very special people. One of our biggest blessings in this life have been the birth of our precious grandchildren, Anthony and Paige. We are grateful to be able to be with them and to watch them grow. I wish many blessings to our family and friends and wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
