PORT ALLEGANY special-
Thurlow D. Fessenden of North Bergen, NJ, a former resident here and in roulette, died suddenly Tuesday morning in North Bergen. He was 57.
A native of Roulette, Mr. Fessenden was an electrical engineer with the Dime Savings Bank of New York City.
He attended Roulette schools and moved to New Jersey about 25 years ago.
He married Lena Andrus(sic) of Port Allegany.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sisters,
- Mrs. Edna Hemminger of Franklinville, NY, and
- Mrs. Fern Townsend of Rochester, NY.
- A son, James, died in 1940.
The body is expected to arrive here Friday and will be taken to the Gallup Funeral Home, where friends may call after 7 pm.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Saturday from the funeral home by the Rev. William Swales of the First Methodist church.
- Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
