I was out all day today hunting down Knapp family grave markers. In some histories, Molly Knapp is shown dying in Oregon. Besides having her obituary from the newspaper in Salem, Nebraska, I've just located her grave marker there. Sally Ann Knapp is often confused with Minnie Agnes Webber-Knapp, who was actually a wife of Edward Knapp, a son of Miles. Sally did not die before 1893 in Pennsylvania as is often reported. She died in Browns Valley, Minnesota, in 1909. Recently, I've also untangled the marriages and children of Florence and Rachel Knapp, tracking some of their children/grandchildren into the 1930s and beyond.
