Widely Known Roulette Resident Died Friday after Several Months' Illness
Friends in this community have been saddened by the death of Mrs. E. M. Weimer of Roulette, who passed away at her home on December 30, 1938 after several months' critical illness.
Achsa D. Weimer was born January 19, 1876, at Austimburg, PA to Oscar and Elsie Fiske.
On January 9, 1895, she was united in marriage to Elvin M. Weimer at Ceres, NY. To them four children were born, 22 Nov 2008

two sons,
- Herbert and Francis, who died in infancy, and
two daughters,
- Mrs. Mittie Carpenter and
- Ireva Grace.
Since their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Weimer have made their home on Comes Creek and Sartwell
Creek and for about forty years in Roulette.
A most faithful companion and kind neighbor, Mrs. Weimer will be missed by a host of friends throughout this vicinity.
She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Roulette and faithfully attended the services as
long as her health would permit. She was also a member of Myrtle Chapter No. 46, O. E. S. of Port Allegany.
Besides her husband and two daughters, she is survived by
- a brother, Will T. Fiske;
- a grandson, Embert Carpenter, and other relatives.
Funeral services were held Sunday, January 1, 1939 at 2 p. m. at the Baptist Church with Mr. Lewis Summers officiating. The church was crowded with relatives and friends who assembled to pay their respects. Members of Myrtle Chapter O. E. S. were present in a body.
Interment was made in the family plot in Sartwell Creek Cemetery.
