Ransom Beckwith, Sr. (1791-1861), a native of Connecticut, and Anna Palmer (b. 1798), a native of Vermont and the daughter of Samuel Palmer, Sr., were married in 1812. They had thirteen children, 1813-1841. Ransom Beckwith died in Dodge County, Nebraska.
