Records from ** Dorothy Mann Francis: "18 Aug 1871
Philo S. and Orilla Hall entered into a mortgage agreement to purchase for $1,200 lot No. 7, section 4 in the Holland Land Company's tract containing 104 acres in Allegany, Cattaraugus, NY. Foreclosure of the mortgage was recorded 13 November 1876 by Robert Hart against David Hall, Orilla Hall, Joel Hall, Charles Wright, Mary Rounds, Alva Hall, George Hall and Martin Hall". The only Charles Wright I know of would have been a child at this time - the youngest son of Rufus Wright and Mary Jane Purcell.
