Mrs. Fessenden was awakened about 2 o'clock in the morning by the heavy breathing of her husband, who soon expired after she reached his bedside. The deceased had been in his usual health and death was evidently caused by heart disease. His death cast a gloom over the community. Mr. Fessenden was a genial generous man and his pleasant ways gained for him many friends. A native of Roulette, Mr. Fessenden was an electrical engineer with the Dime Savings Bank of New York City. He attended Roulette schools and moved to New Jersey about 25 years ago. He married Lena Andrus(sic) of Port Allegany. Besides his wife he is survived by two sisters, - Mrs. Edna Hemminger of Franklinville, NY, and - Mrs. Fern Townsend of Rochester, NY. - A son, James, died in 1940. The body is expected to arrive here Friday and will be taken to the Gallup Funeral Home, where friends may call after 7 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Saturday from the funeral home by the Rev.
