Funeral services will be held at the George W. Scott undertaking parlors here Saturday afternoon. The body will be shipped to Ellensburg and burial will be made in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at Thorp Sunday morning at 10 o'clock. Ella Irene Pease was born December 21, 1862 at Sauk Center, Minnesota, there she lived until a young girl when she moved to Ellensburg with her father Benjamin Pease in 1877. Nine years later she became the wife of Johhn C. Waggoner being married at Ellensburg on July 29, 1886. They continued to live in Ellensburg until 1908 when they moved to the coast and took up their home there. Mrs. Waggoner was a member of the Steele Lake Grange and the Ladies of the Gar Circle. She leaves to mourn her passing J. C. Waggoner, one daughter, Mrs. Estella H. Walton of Auburn, one sister, Nora Burlingham of Buxton, Oregon and three brothers, Edgar Pease of Ellensburg, Perry of Toppenish and Bert of Caldwell, Idaho. Pease, who died Oct. 31st was born Aug. 28th 1832, in Steuben County, New York. At the age of 20 she married B. S. Pease and soon after immigrated to the then territory of Iowa. After a few years residence there the family again immigrated, this time to territory of Minnesota, where they lived until 1877, when they came to Kittitas Valley where she resided until the time of her death. She was the mother of seven children, five of whom survive her. During the last year and a half she has resided in Ellensburg with her daughter, Mr. G. M. [Clara] Burlingham. Mrs. Pease had a wide circle of friends and was loved and respected for her goodness and kindness and patient faithful Christian spirit by all who knew her.
