Adams served warm sugar to a company of his young friends one evening last week. The Storey family gave a very enjoyable concert in the opera house April 12th. Miss Mabel Weimer has just finished her school at Mina and will, we understand, open a private school in the school building here. Mrs. D.G. Pomeroy has returned from a visit with her parents at Colesburg. Archie Fessenden, of Emporium, has been visiting relatives in town recently. W.T. Jackson, of Boston, was looking after his tannery interests here last week. Mrs. J.C. Burt, of Burtville, was the guest of friends Saturday. Mrs. Fred Ernst and Mrs. William Ernest, of Williston, were guests of Mrs. Neother Saturday. George Taylor has moved his family into Jno. Card's building and will sell teas and spices, on the road for the Pure Gold Company. O.C. Wagoner, of Port Allegany, has taken charge of his market. Prof. Clulo began a short term of school on Monday last at Elm Flats. The trustees are very fortunate in securing Mr. Clulo's services. Warm sugar will be served in White's hall Friday evening, the proceeds to be added to the carpet fund. All are cordially invited. John Tenbrock is building a new porch on his residence.

John V. Weimer, a prominent Roulette citizen, died at the Coudersport General Hospital yesterday morning at 5:30 o'clock. Deceased had passed his 81st birthday last August, but despite his years was very active and did his own work. Tuesday while dragging with a team he became tangled and fell to the ground. The one horse stepped on him, crushing his chest. He got up and started to walk to the house but his injuries soon proved so painful that he was brought to the hospital here. Mr. Weimer had been a life lone resident of Roulette and for over 50 years served as the village blacksmith. He is survived by two children, Mable and Floyd, both of Roulette. His wife died three years ago. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Brown officiating and burial will be made In the Lyman cemetery In Roulette. "Ina Manning Burt"? Iva Manning was my 2nd cousin 3x removed, married Menzo Monroe Burt in 1903. Mabel D. Weimer was my 1st cousin 4x removed; she did not marry. Edna Fessenden Hemminger, my 2nd cousin 3x, Myrtle Fessenden, my 3rd cousin 3x; Myrtle did not marry, either.

• OLD RESIDENT DIES OF INJURIES
John Weimer of Roulette, Trampled by Horse Dies in Coudersport Hospital.
John V." Weimer, a prominent Roulette citizen, died at the Coudersport General Hospital yesterday morning at 5:30 o'clock. Deceased had passed his 81st birthday last August, but despite his years was very active and did his own work. Tuesday while dragging with a team he became tangled and fell to the ground. The one horse stepped on him, crushing his chest. He got up and started to walk to the house but his injuries soon proved so painful that he was brought to the hospital here.
Mr. Weimer had been a life lone resident of Roulette and for over 50 years served as the village blacksmith. He is survived by two children, Mable and Floyd, both of Roulette. His wife died three years ago. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Brown officiating and burial will be made In the Lyman cemetery In Roulette.
