Johnny, A. Sal recently had hip surgery ( due to a fall ). Now her kidneys are failing and there is nothing they can do . Hospice took her home from hospital today. I don’t know much more than this . Iva is on her way back to A. Sals tonight and I will know more tonight or tomorrow. Please send the info to U. Ed.
Dad just got back from the hospital, had an eschaemic stroke Monday, could have been a lot worse. I will see him Sunday...’ish.
I’m so sorry about aunt Sal! I will call him tomorrow to let him know.
How’s your dad doing?
I’m with him now. I read this to him and he says he’s better than most . So sorry about U. Ed !! Is someone with him ?
I hope there wasn’t much damage .
Todd was.
Sorry, I was driving, returning from my daughter Christy’s house. Damage was minimal I think, but his speech is a little slow and slurred, coordination affected. He’s going to be a grouch for a while- I would be.
Your dad’s a survivor, tough.
We’ll see how Ed does; he’s pretty tough, too... as long as he has a will...
... the will, I mean.
Yes, that is so important ! Aunt Sal was saying her goodbyes last night according to Donna. She said she was ready to go be with U. Joe.
I can understand that now.
Our Dad’s are tough ! I can only pray I m half the person my dad is . I know I’m as stubborn !!!
Please tell U. Ed we are thinking of him and we all love him. Thank you !
Thu 7:38am
He thanks you, sends his love back, asked about Uncle Jerry.

Aunt Sal just passed

Thank you for sharing, Bonnie. It’s sad. But at least she sounded ready.
