! Accdg. to Families of Early Hartford, a "Dau. m. Foote." Have not proved as yet. ! Her second mg. to James Wakelee evidently was a disaster, full of disputes and litigation. By Jan 1662/3, he had "lately fled from his wife and familly and left an estate behind there (Wethersfield). He settled then in Providence, RI. In 1680, both James and Alice filed for divorce, but the court declined to grant it to either. As far as is known, he never returned to Connecticut." She had been left with five small children at home when James Boosey had died, and this could have been part of the problem in her second marriage, which was childless.

- LDS Alice came into the marriage with 5 children; this may be why is was a miserable union and James left. Both filed for divorce but neither was granted(!)
