Merge issue(s)?
Not sure if it was a result of one or more merges, but as of 4 January 2025, Margaret Mary Studebaker's (MQ1L-K71) page shows her married to Jacob Ludwig Snider Sr. (K698-K5G, 1732-1790), married in 1752 in PA, and having 16 children. It also shows her married to Jacob Snider Sr. (9NWN-SYV, 1732-1798), with no marriage date, and no children. The pages for the Jacobs has the first born in Bavaria, Germany, and the second born in Bern, Switzerland. Although their deaths are shown as 8 years apart, they are both shown as occurring in Berkley County, Virginia. I realize K698-K5G's page shows West Virginia, but West Virginia did not become a separate state until 1863 after separating from Virginia during the Civil War. Also, the pages for the two Jacobs show them having different parents which would imply they are different people.
I suspect we have two different Jacobs mixed together and Margaret Mary only married one of them. I would note that Jacob Ludwig Snider has several sources and appears to have some significant research done in the past. The other Jacob has no sources attached.

Information received from Liebegott collection at Martinsburg, Blair, PA, USA, vol 218, pp. 209-211.
It is possible that the Studebakers came to the Carolines with the French Hugenotts. There is a Studebaker book.
