COUDERSPORT MAN IS LAID TO REST
Coudersport- Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at one-thirty o'clock for Isaac Baker, whose death occurred Tuesday morning. Dr Homer B. Potter of Park Methodist Episcopal Church conducted the services and burial was made in the Crandall Hill Cemetery.
Burial services were in charge of the Odd Fellow Lodge.
Mr. Baker was the son of Isaac and Pamelia Dingman Baker and was born in Eulalia Township September 30, 1853.
He married Polly Amy Luce on June 17, 1871.
Mr. Baker had engaged in farming nearly all his life, in later years acting as street commissioner.
Two sons,
- Rufus Baker of Olean, and
- Omar Baker of Cuba survive,
also one brother,
- Joseph Baker of Coudersport;
and one sister,
- Mrs. Laura Smart of Springfield, Ill.

EDMOND M. BAKER
Edmund Moolimer (Mortimer? -jcw) Baker, was born April 9, 1855 at Andover, NY and was a son of Abigail and Daniel Baker. He lived in Roulette and vicinity until 24 years of age, when he drifted westward, being in 31 different states and some parts of Canada. He returned four years ago to his home town, making his home with his great nephew, Donald Baker, of Card Creek, the past two years until the time of death, October 26.
Funeral services were held at Fishing Creek Church, Sunday, at 2:00 o'clock and conducted by the I.O.O.F. of Roulette, of which he was a member for 35 years. Burial was made in Fishing Creek Cemetery, with Rev. White officiating.
His brother, M.E. Baker of Fishing Creek, is the only surviving one of the family of 16 children.
