In the census for 1800, he was living in Mount Holly, Rutland, Vermont. He married Abigail Chase in 1798 in Pittsfield, Rutland, Vermont, where he was on the census in 1810. The children of Enoch and Abigail were Alice, Jerusha, Ophelia, Sally, Aviah, Alzina, Joseph and Cerena. Enoch was a veteran of the War of 1812. His wife died on 12 May 1813 in Pittsfield. He then married Pruda Bacon on 22 July 1813 and their children were Prudy, Enoch Jr., Sylvester, Sareptha, Lucinda L, Lucena, Timothy C, Celestia Lucretia, Sharon Loren, Simion Bacon and John Luther. On the 1820 Census they lived in Bath, Steuben, Vermont, 1830 Census in Hinsdale, Cattaraugus, New York, 1840 Census in Great Valley, Cattaraugus, New York, 1850 Census in Bloomfield, Crawford, Pennsylvania and on the 1860 and 1870 Census he was in Rockdale, Crawford, Pennsylvania. With his sons, Enoch logged the timber off the land for cash, something they had also done while living in New York. Their home was located on the Hungry Run Road in Erie County, Pennsylvania near where the V.F.W picnic grounds are now located. His sons Simion, Timothy and Sylvester all fought in the Civil War.
