Clarence Kiehle Saves Unknown Man From Drowning As He Returns From Day Of Labor at the glass plant.
Drunken man in river, clinging to the bank, exhausted. With considerable difficulty, Mr Kiehle got him back on the railroad track and up to the glass plant where he left him to sober up.

Mr & Mrs T.J. Carpenter and Miss Laura Vroman went to Driftwood on Friday to attend the funeral of five year old Marcellus Vroman, a nephew.
The child fell into a vat while playing about the tannery of which his father is supperintendent and died within two hours after being rescued.
PURCHASES PROPERTY
Commissioner Frank Lent has purchased the Jones house on the corner of West & Fourth streets and is making improvements about the same.
