Smemoe. !DEATH: Clark School House Cemetery records obtained from film, FHL. NOTES: the will of Joseph Olmsted of Edinburg mentioned daughter Susan Barker and named Ichabod Barker as executor. At one quarterly meeting of the Methodist Church at Edinburg, Ichabod Barker housed and fed 40 persons and cared for their teams. Ichabod had a 108 acre farm at Edinburg in 1850, residing with family was Lucy Conington, age 7. In 1855, his frame house at Edinburg was valued at $400, and he had resided there 61 yrs.; wife, 57 yrs. In 1860 his real property was valued at $2,500: personal property at $1,000. In 1865 he was called a farmer, living next door to son Newman. Wife Susannah was called mother of eight chilren. In 1875 widow Susan was residing with single daughter Lucy, next to Newman.
