• Honor Students to Speak at Graduation Tomorrow
Various Topics On Unified Theme, "You and The World to Come," to Be Discussed By Student Speakers at Commencement Exercises in School Auditorium Here Tomorrow Night-65 Seniors to Receive Diplomas.
Six honor students, uting the unified theme, "You and the World to Come," will speak at commencement exercises tomorrow (Thursday) night in the Coudersport Area High School auditorium at 8:00 o'clock, when 65 seniors will receive diplomas. Miss Gwendolyn Grimshaw will deliver an address on "Yesterday and Tomorrow." "Education and the Schooled Generation" will be the topic of Miss Gail Shuttleworth's essay. Stephen Burt will speak on "The New Leisure." Miss Dianna Lent's topic will be "Food and the War of the Wares." "Race Relations, the Tangled Web" is the scheduled subject of Kenneth Carey's essay and Charles Psychos will discuss "Modes, Manners and Mores." Following is the complete program: Processional, "Trumpet Voluntary." Invocation--Steven Heimel. Vocal solo, "My Task"-Marian Eld.
Welcome- -Richard Wetzel, class president. Student essays. Vocal solo, "Without A Song"Scott Parisella. Presentation of class- -Arlton G. Grover, supervising principal.
Presentation of diplomas-Roy Heimel, president of the board of education, assisted by Milton O. Braun, high school principal. "Thank You" -Patricia Axline. "Alma Mater"-Class. Benediction- -Theodore Elliott.
Recessional, "Pomp and Circumstance." Other class officers, besides president Wetzel, are: Wilson Butz, vice president; Patricia Buchanan, secretary, and Paul Rees, treasurer. Class colors are red and gold and the class flower is the red rose. Honor students, other than those speaking, Miss Axline, Leslie Baxter, Miss Buchanan, Scott Parisella, Elizabeth Tauscher and Ann Weiss. All graduates are pictured in this section through the kindness and generosity of merchants and other business men.

Committed for 90-Day Observation at Warren.
Donald Seibert, 23, of Shinglehouse, was taken to Warren State Hospital last Tuesday by coourt order for a 90-day observation period. Seibert was removed from the outy jail here he had spent several weeks.
He was accompanied by Sheriff Harold Holcomb and John Dec, deputy sheriff.
