He had been ill three years. Mr. Baker was born in Homer Township, Aug. 3, 1895, son of Burnie and Sarah Moore Baker. He was a blacksmith much of his mature life. He Wherry Bacan Martha, Survivors married. are a step-son, Frank Vergason, three sisters, Mrs. Mary Vergason, Galeton; Mrs. Inez Denhoff, Syracuse, N.Y.; Mrs. Margaret Fye, Greensburg, Pa.; and brothers, John and Burnie Baker, Binghamton, N.Y. There are several nieces and nephews. Deceased was a veteran of World War I and a member of Potter Post, American Legion. There was a military service at the Grabe Funeral Home, folloxed by the funeral at 2:00 o'clock Tuesday. Burial was in Eulalia Cemetery. -.
