Bankert, Sweden Valley, was appointed Pennsylvania Grand Representative at the 24th Pennsylvania Grand Assembly, International Order of Rainbow for Girls, held Aug. 11-14 at the Pennsylvania State University. She received her state appointment Friday morning and during ceremonies that night received her grand cross of color, an award for special service to her local assembly. She is a past wor-/ thy advisor of the Coudersport Assembly No. 139. Mrs. Loren Vosburg, Coudersport, was also to receive the grand cross of color but was unable to attend.
