CLEVELAND-SPRING
In Christ Episcopal church, Belvidere, Miss Harriet Spring, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Spring of Belvidere and Mr. Spencer Cleveland of Buffalo were married Sunday, Dec. 19, by the Rev. Thomas Wuthey. The attendants were Mrs. Laurena Johnston of Belmont and Mr. Sidney H. Dunham of Buffalo.
The bride wore midnight blue sa satin with a shoulder corsage of white pompons and Mrs. Johnston's frock was of wine velvet with silver accessories. Her corsage was of Johanna Hill roses. After the ceremony a reception was held in the home of the bride's parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland are taking a South American cruise, returning after the first of the year to make their home in Buffalo..

BELMONT - Reginald "Rex" Spring, who resided all 85 years of his life in the family home at Belvidere, Belmont, RD2, where he was born, died Thursday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Spencer (Harriett) Cleveland of 363 Darwin Dr., Snyder.
Mr. Spring became ill last December while visiting his daughter in Snyder, and had been confined there since.
Born Dec 12, 1878. he was the son of John and Clara Agnes Mayes Spring, both natives of England. He was married Sept. 29, 1909, to Violet Baker. who survives.
Well known in this area as a lumberman, he also operated a commercial garden for several years.
Surviving. in addition to his wife and the daughter in Snyder, is
a second daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Betty) Brown of Belvidere;
one son. Paul R. Spring, also of Belmont RD 2;
10 grandchildren:
two sisters,
Mrs. Fred Salmen of Lake Worth, Fla., and
Mrs. Ethel Herdman of Almond, and
one brother, Basil Spring of Bolivar.
Funeral arrangements, under direction of Davis Funeral Home, Friendship, were not complete this morning.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., beginning tonight.
